Here's another banjo with an internal tensioning system. The tackhead travel banjo was so successful, I decided to try the concept on a full sized banjo.

It has a block rim with purple heart, mahogany and maple

I used standard bodhran head tuners for this instrument, but I think I like my homemade ones better
